The tailgating news came during the committee’s Monday news conference regarding transportation and safety for the Feb. 2, 2014, game.
Speaking of transportation, there are even more restrictions. You will not be allowed to walk, take a limo or cab to the game.
Fans will be able to choose from three options in getting to the game:
The Fan Express is a charter service offered by the committee that costs $51 and will pick up fans at nine locations around the area.
New Jersey public transportation is another encouraged route and will be the mode of transport for most.
Others will drive themselves, only if they have a parking pass. But there are only 13,000 spots available for the 82,000+ fans.
So these restrictions, not to mention the cost of a ticket, the highest being $2,600, and potential blizzard…. hmmm, firing up the grill and hosting a party at home is sounding better all the time.
And that’s today’s helping of The Online Dish with Maggie.
