HOUSTON, TX – HEB’s got the grub, and it’s not just for selling. It’s for giving.

‘Tis the season, right?

The grocery company is partnering with eight organizations around town to hand out a whole bunch of meals as part of its annual Feast of Sharing.

“What we’re looking is to impact as many different individuals as we can. Looking to feed over 6,400 people through this one week,” said Armando Perez, Senior V.P. for HEB Houston.

On Wednesday, it was totally cool to sit at the kids table. Through HEB’s partnership with Kids Meals, more than 300 little ones got to chow down on a chicken lunch.

But it’s not just about full bellies.

“I think it’s a really good opportunity. You know, they’re giving back to the community, showing the community that they care,” said Jamara Munoz.

HEB really is “helping here” in Houston.
