COLORADO – The puff puff pass industry in Colorado has ganja-preneurs taking advantage of raking in green, while they hand out free green to tourists. Why? Because they can!

As the state prepares to legalize recreational marijuana on January 1st, Rocky Mountain resorts are prepping for a rush of pot smokers looking to light up on the slopes.

While they work on that, seems our friends to the south are jumping on the marijuana movement.

Uruguay’s senate approved a proposal Tuesday to legalize marijuana in the South American country… the first country ever to do such a thing!

The measure has already passed Uruguay’s lower house, and President Jose Mujica has said he supports it.

It gives the Uruguayan government the authority to regulate the production, distribution and sale of marijuana.

So as you piece together your travel plans for 2014, smoking on the slopes or burning one in South America; such travel bring a whole new meaning for wanderlusters being high on life!
