SAN DIEGO, CA – People go to jail for lots of reasons. One California man is in the slammer for running a website, but not just any website.

San Diego County Superior Court documents say Kevin Bollaert was the man in charge of ugotposted.com. It’s a now-dead revenge porn site that posted explicit pictures, names, locations and Facebook links of unsuspecting women. And, the court docs say, after those unsuspecting women became suspecting, they wanted their pictures off the site. So get this. Bollaert allegedly started charging women fees of up to $350 a pop to have their images taken down through another site. And, needless to say, authorities found out and busted Bollaert’s money-making operation. They also put 31 felony counts of conspiracy, identity theft and extortion charges down his throat.

In an interview with detectives, Bollaert said in the court documents, “At the beginning it was fun and entertaining, but now it’s just like ruining my life.”

Now it looks like Bollaert’s going to have to find another way to entertain himself that doesn’t involve ruining other peoples’ lives.
