Louisiana drivers named as the worst drivers in the nation

SEATTLE, WA – Next time a cop tries to give you a ticket, tell him that State’s pride is at stake.  In a list of the worst drivers in the nation, Texans came in 4th place, while Louisiana drivers came first. Yes, surprisingly somebody managed to cut us off.

CarInsuranceComparison.com compiled this ranking, taking into consideration fatality rates, citations, DUI infractions and tickets for speeding and careless driving.

This ranking tells us a lot about our driving habits and geography. With South Carolina in second place, Mississippi third and Alabama fifth, there’s no doubt that our famous southern hospitality does not have wheels.
