QUEEN CREEK, AZ – Walmart rolls back their prices, but they didn’t roll out the welcome mat for one Arizona man when he went shopping for Christmas ornaments.

Joe Cantrell says he goes to Walmart often. In fact, sometimes he goes twice a day. The store is also easy on his wallet, and that’s important to him since he’s disabled. Because every penny counts, he started ad matching. That’s when you find an item at one store and have another store match the price. But when Joe tried doing it at Walmart, they denied him and told him he couldn’t. Joe got upset and went to management.

“So when I left, he turned and called Pinal County Sheriff and says he felt intimidated and threatened,” Joe explained.

But when Joe tried going back to the store, he says three deputies cuffed him and gave him a court summons, banning him for life from any Walmart in the world. Joe says when the deputies realized the nature of the complaint, they let him go.

Maybe Joe can take some of that Christmas cheer over to Target.
