dwight gives giftsHOUSTON, TX – ‘Tis the season for giving! And it’s also been a pretty good season for the Houston Rockets too. The basketball team gave us a “win” against rival San Antonio Spurs on Christmas. But the Rockets weren’t just winners on the court, they did pretty good off the court that silent night as well! All thanks to one of their newest players.

Rockets forward, Dwight Howard went from “Superman” to “Rocket Man” to now just “da man”!!! After he got all Saint Nick on his NBA teammates and gave them Rolex watches as stocking stuffers. Yeah and Dwight’s b-ball buddies showed their appreciation by Instagraming pics of their expensive timepieces. Greg Smith got one. And Omri Casspi got one too! But not all of the Rockets got Rolex’s. James Harden received an Audemars Piguet watch from Switzerland that was on his Christmas list.

From the wooden court to the gridiron, the guys just kept on giving, but not watches… video game consoles.
Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III bought an Xbox One for his offensive linemen. Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson upped that ante and gave everyone on the Seahawks offense a new Xbox.
Cincinnati Bengals players also played Santa this season. Defensive tackles Domata Peko and Geno Atkins chipped in a got their defensive teammates Playstation 4’s.

A winning season, indeed! But not for Houston Texans Fans, who continue to get coal in their collective stockings, one miserable lose at a time.
