NORTH KOREA – Despite all of the purges and executions of family members, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un managed to find time in his busy schedule to take on the slopes for New Years.

Kim paid a visit to his latest pet project, a $300 million ski resort, which he vowed to have finished before 2014. It’s not quite done due to torrential rains and landslides earlier this year.

The Masik Pass Ski Resort is the latest in a long line of North Korea’s flashy showcase projects, like a massive water park, amusement park, and horseback riding club.
