Huge winter storm hits Midwest, Northeast

snowNEW YORK, NY – 2014 looks like a blast! Of winter weather.

Times Square has barely cleared out, and now it’s filling up again. With snow. Weather advisories have spanned from Missouri to Maine. In the Midwest and Northeast as much as a foot and a half of snow is on the way. More than 100 million people could be affected.

Flightaware.com reports more than a thousand flights cancelled in the U.S. on Thursday. Chicago’s O’Hare International has gotten it the worst. Newark Liberty is not far behind.

It is a cold way to start the New Year. At least things can only look up from here.
