WASHINGTON, D.C. – A Washington D.C. woman gave birth to twins not only minutes apart but a year apart too.

Lorraine Begazo was born at 11:58 New Year’s Eve and her brother, Brandon, born three minutes later in the first minute of 2014.

The twins and mom are doing just fine.

The family says they plan to celebrate the twins’ different birthdays with cake on both sides of midnight on New Year’s Eve every year.
