Pakistan teen stops suicide bomber in school

ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN – A 14-year-old boy is being hailed as a hero in Pakistan for sacrificing his life to tackle a suicide bomber.

Ninth-grader Aitazaz Hassan Bangash was on his way to the Ibrahimzai school in the Hangu district, an area known for its violence and attacks against Shia and Sunni Muslims.

the bomber, dressed in a school uniform, asked him where the school was; and that’s when Aitazaz became very suspicious.

Aitazaz tried to grab the bomber at the entrance to the school… during the scuffle, the bomber panicked and detonated his bomb.

Aitazaz and the bomber died at the main gate of the school; but such a heroic act saved all around 1,000 people.
