TAMPA, FL – It was supposed to be a good time with some good ol’ country music on the Country Cruising Caribbean Cruise. But for country singer Trace Adkins, he cruised himself right into rehab.

When the ship sailed off from Miami, Adkins tweeted, “Up here in my suite, overlooking the pools. Behave yourselves.” Ironically, he’d be the one acting up later.

Adkins reportedly got into a fight at a bar on the ship with a Trace Adkins impersonator who was doing karaoke. When the shipped docked in Jamaica, Trace got off and didn’t go back. His next stop was rehab.

A spokesperson for Adkins released a statement saying that Adkins had suffered “a setback in his battle with alcoholism” and checked himself in for help. Adkins battle has been no secret. In fact, he had been sober for 12 years.

With so much success as a country superstar, and $10 million albums sold under his belt, perhaps he can get himself back in tune.
