OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Investigators are trying to figure out what caused a massive house fire in Oklahoma City.

Flames engulfed the 4,000-square foot home Monday evening leaving very little behind.

Dozens of firefighters were called in to take down the blaze.

Upon arrival crews reported seeing flames shooting through the roof.

Fire officials say no one was home when the flames erupted but the family’s dog did not make it out alive.

The family reportedly plans to stay with relatives.
