HOUSTON, TX – Houston commuters, there’s a little something you need to ‘handle with care.’ It’s not your car, it’s your marriage!

A study from Swedish researchers shows if you or your partner take 45 minutes or more to get to work, your marriage is 40% more likely to fall apart.

Luckily for Harris County workers, the average commute here is about 27 minutes.

The average work-commute in the U.S. is about 25 minutes.

So spouses are likely to hit the road in the U.S. due to reasons other than a work commute.
