SANIBEL ISLAND, FL – Drones – some people love them and some folks hate them.

A realtor in Florida is using one to his advantage.

Sanibel realtor Tracy Walters has his own personal drone to snap one-of-a-kind pictures of properties he’s trying to sell. He’s the first in his area to use the state of the art, remote controlled, unmanned aerial system for business, and so far, it’s working.

“It knows where it is and you can run it off GPS coordinates, you can do video or stills,” said Walters.

Only thing – the videos and stills are causing some privacy issues. The Federal Aviation Administration prohibits commercial drone use. But, Walters says he’s doing nothing wrong.

Only time will tell if Walters’ dream can keep flying. But, one thing’s for sure – right now, it’s paying off!
