HOUSTON, TX – “Designed by Haunters, for Haunters”, that’s the motto here at Hauntcon, bringing people who love haunted houses, scaring and Halloween together to network and workshop with some of the haunt industries heavy hitters.

Emerald Scott from Stilt Beast Studios says, “We make deranged masks and various accoutrement for monsters and so on and so fourth for your haunt.”

Everyone wants to make their own tombstone right? Attendees also got the opportunity to partake in some hands on workshops.

Chris Davis, from Davis Graveyard says, “The tombstones are made out of foam and they’re hand carved with an exacto knife and then shaped and then we use latex paint to make them look like tombstones.”

Very cool stuff, sure Halloween may be about 10 months away still, but then again, is it ever too early to prepare to scare?
