PRETORIA, SOUTH AFRICA – Watch out NewsFixers; TV in South Africa is about to be one-upped!

The country’s top cable channel, Multichoice, says it’s set to kick off “round-the-clock” coverage of Oscar Pistorius’ murder trial. You know, ‘Blade Runner’ who’s accused of murdering his girlfriend model, Reeva Steenkamp last Valentine’s Day.

Multichoice says its ‘Blade TV’ “pop-up” channel will launch on March 2, just one day before the double-amputee Olympian goes on trial. And, the channel called “The Oscar Pistorius Trial: A Carte Blanche Channel” will be put on by a group of local journalists.

Only catch, the judge in the trial hasn’t decided yet if TV cameras of the court proceedings will be allowed or if the trial can even be broadcast live. And, that could throw a monkey wrench in the whole operation.

Either way, whether viewers are watching live or not, we’re sure Oscar ‘Crier’ will be sure to put on a good show.
