Wanna join the Mile High Club? Well, there’s an app for that. It’s kind of like Tinder high in the sky.
Imagine, you’re mid-flight and all of a sudden you want a little turbulence in your pants. And now that you can hook up with in-flight WiFi, why not use it to find someone to hook up with.
Creator Gabe Whaley, a 24-year-old copywriter, says it really does work like the dating app Tinder. You create a profile with your picture, first name, age, occupation, flight number, and airline. Of course, you’d specify whether you’re traveling for business or “pleasure”.
The app will then show you a list of travelers on the same flight that you can potentially start a conversation with.
The app is still in development.
I have a feeling this app is going to have a hard time taking off. Here are my issues.
- What if you’re rejected? You can’t exactly leave the plane!
- It’s just another way for people to cheat on business trips
- What happens once you land? Or was it 2 hours of flying high together
- How the heck are you supposed to have sex in the plane bathroom? Have you been to the bathroom in the plane? Not exactly an easy task. And if this is supposed to be a “sexy secret” kind of hard to keep that under wraps.
Speaking of under wraps, the biggest issue that I have is how dangerous this is? And how many STDs could potentially be flying around?!
I highly recommend you stay in your seat with your seat belt tightly fastened.
