Hundred of hungry, ambitious high school football players are replacing the Texans at the Methodist training center for the Greater Houston Senior Football Showcase; all with one thing in mind. A scholarship and an opportunity to play football at the college level.  Inside the dome these college football hopefuls are put to the test for the watching eyes of over 30 universities. Brandon Day, from Howard Payne University says “What we’re looking for is kids that have the basic raw talent that you’re looking for out of most high school kids. Some are more developed than others, some have been coached better than other, but talent will always shine through and we look for that. You always find one or two here that can do something for you right away and that’s really why we come here every year.”

These things aren’t easy, and so much of what happens next for these high schooler’s depends on their grade point average. Hopefully though, some left here today with the score they came for.
