DAYTON, OH – Was it the Good Book, or just some good luck? A Dayton Ohio bus driver literally found salvation within the bible, after the scripture stuffed in his shirt pocket stopped two bullets aimed at his chest. Who needs a Kevlar vest, when you have Christ!

49-year-old Rickey Waggoner, was shot twice in the chest at close range in what cops are calling a gang initiation. But God’s words were on Waggoner’s side, when the drivers bible blocked the bullets. He also suffered a gunshot to the leg and was stabbed in the arm.

Waggoner was carrying a contemporary version of the bible called “The Message” when he was approached by a three teens, who according to police reports, were heard saying to each other, “If you want to be all the way in the club, you have to kill the polar bear.” Waggoner managed to fight back after the miracle, taking the gun away from the gang-bangers and firing off some shots of his own as the they fled. Police are still investigating.

You can say God must really love Waggoner for saving his life after his brutal attack. Then again, the Almighty must also love the millions of atheists that weren’t shot at all that night.

Guess it’s true what they say, god really does works in mysterious ways.

The mockery of God in this article offends me. Why do you feel the need to do that? I expect you are an atheist yourself (you being whomever wrote this article). I won't be watching newsfix in the future. Hopefully others will be alienated by this needless mockery and turn the channel as well.
