CALIFORNIA – James Taylor sang about ‘Fire & Rain,’ and we’re thinking California was inspired by the song.
The Golden State’s seen its fair share of fire, and now they’re seeing rain. Lot’s of rain.
For the second time in a week massive storms blasted the west coast, prompting flood warnings and mandatory evacuations for a thousand homes in southern California.
Two months ago homes that were threatened by wildfires now have to worry about mudslides, as the scorched earth can’t hold all the water mother nature’s bringing.
Unfortunately, there’s not a light at the end of the tunnel, just yet. Many are sitting in the dark without power and storms are expected to last through much of the weekend.
This could be the first time anyone’s ever wished for a “Case of the Mondays.”
