LONDON – Did you make it through the flu season flu free? If you didn’t, you might want to pay attention to this new study. A new study suggests vigorous exercise may be the key to keeping away the flu bug.
OK, what is vigorous activity? According to the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, it can include running, fast cycling or competitive sports.
The study suggests vigorous activity may be able to prevent 100 cases of the flu per 1,000 people. That’s a full 10%!
So while the weather is nice, get out there and get vigorous!
