CHICAGO, IL – Getting to the airport on time can be stressful, but for travelers at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport early Monday morning, stress quickly turned to terror.

At a little after 2 a.m., a train jumped the tracks and came to a stop partway up an escalator.

Amazingly no one was killed, but 32 people were injured.

Authorities are still trying to figure out what went wrong.

They’ll be looking into a number of possible causes, including speed.

The train will likely remain in its mid-escalator position as the investigation continues.

But thanks to shuttle buses, O’Hare passengers will still be able to arrive with plenty of time to be poked and prodded by the TSA.
