proposalHOUSTON, TX – Where’s the perfect place to propose? Well, it depends on who you ask.

Some get a kick out of a soccer field. Others may take a shot at a basketball game; but if you want to swing for the fences you might choose a baseball stadium. If you want a major league proposal you have 25 ballparks to choose from and the prices really vary.

The cheapest is PNC Park where the Pittsburgh Pirates only charge a few doubloons, $39. The Astros may suck, but they charge $500 for a live scoreboard proposal. That’s expensive, but the price is much steeper at Chavez Ravine where the Los Angeles Dodgers play. $2,500 will get you on live TV, but you could do a score board message for $75.

This guy shelled out $175 at Wrigley Field but his intended was on a beer run and missed the message. He later successfully popped the question.

Just remember, if you strike out you’ll do it in front of a large audience, a furry mascot and an announcer. On the bright side, you’ll probably become a viral sensation.
