LOS ANGELES, California — Accidentally frozen to death in the morgue.

Sounds like a horror film but that’s what a Los Aangeles family is claiming happened to their loved one.

Maria de Jesus Arroyo’s family says that she was frozen to death in a hospital morgue after being prematurely declared dead and stuffed in a body bag alive!

Now they’re suing Boyle Heights Hospital for the 2010 incident.

At first the family was suing for mishandling of the 80-year-old’s body, but after experts ruled she was frozen to death and that she didn’t die from her heart attack, but asphyxiation and hypothermia, the family filed a new lawsuit for medical negligence and wrongful death.

It’s headed to a jury trial.

Be prepared to hear the “chilling” details.
