SUGAR LAND, TX – Nights around Houston will soon be a buzz again. No, not by pesky mosquitoes. By the Sugar Land Skeeters! We got our first look at the Atlantic League Profesional Baseball team this morning, when the minor league Skeeters hosted media day at Constellation Park. Many in the organization are still feeling the high from last season.

One of the new guys this year, is bound to be a stand out for the Skeeters. Trading in the hardwood court for the pitcher’s mound, is 6 ft 8, ex Houston Rocket Tracy McGrady. And while he’s not on the starting roster, the organization is excited to see what this big guy can make the transition from basketball to baseball!

The Skeeters will be playing a few practice games before their big opening day on April 24th. Fans from around Sugar Land can’t wait to hear the call, “play ball”!
