PHOENIX, AZ – US Airways has learned the hard way that you better look before you tweet.

Here’s what happened.

A self-proclaimed Twitter was unhappy with a recent trip on US Airways, and tweeted about sitting at the gate for an hour at Charlotte International, which delayed her arrival in Portland, OR.

US Airways responded with what it thought was a concerned tweet, thanking her for her feedback, and providing a link where she could continue her complaining.

But the link went to a porno photo of an airplane stuck inside a woman’s lady hangar.

The bad tweet took off quickly, unlike the tweeter’s flight, causing US Airways to take down its tweet, issue an apology, and proclaim that it is conducting a probe to get to the bottom of the issue, sorta like the plane in the picture.

We kinda like the suggestion from one tweeter, that US Airways be like Southwest Airlines and put a woman on a plane instead the other way around.
