WEST, TX – It’s been a year since the fertilizer plant in West, TX caught fire and exploded, shaking the entire town to its core.
The consequences were deadly — 15 people killed. The destruction was massive — $100 million worth. While the town has spent the past 365 days recovering, newly released video shows the terrifying moments from another perspective.
It’s new video, but the devastating outcome is still the same.
Thursday was a day to remember and honor those who lost their lives.
“It’s a day of reflection of the firefighters and the people we lost,” said Tommy Muska, Mayor of West.
Now the town of West can simply focus on looking forward.
