HOUSTON, TX – Michaels, the craft store giant and their subsidiary Aaron Brothers are the latest to confirm there was a security breach in some of their payment card processing systems.
The breach – which took place between May of 2013 and January of 2014 may have affected as many as 2.6 million customers.

Here’s what Michaels has to say, “We want you to know we have identified and fully contained the incident, and we can assure you the malware no longer presents a threat to customers while shopping at Michaels or Aaron Brothers.”

Man, the breach list is growing. There was Target, Spec’s and even Neiman Marcus.

With all the online security breaks, would it be safer to just pay with cash?

Of course cash may protect you from the cyber thieves, but might not be helpful when someone points a gun at you..
