FLORIDA – Talk about having a sinking feeling.

Crews are working to fill a sinkhole that opened up beneath two homes in The Villages Community in central Florida. We’re not talking about a little hole in the ground here, either.

Officials say rainwater caused the sinkhole to re-open after it had been filled a few weeks back, and now it’s grown to about 50-feet in depth.

Obviously, the two families that live above the gaping hole have been evacuated as a precaution and if it gets any bigger more people could be asked to leave.

Guess that makes this a ‘holy’ weekend in more ways than one!
