Jailer behind bars for delivering snacks to inmates

SPRING, TX – You know the saying; sharing is caring. But when it lands you in jail, you may want to rethink things.

Branden Paez, a former Harris County jailer, has found himself on the other side of the bars, charged with bringing contraband into a correctional facility.

Paez allegedly brought the inmates chips, candy, tobacco and even let one of them use his cellphone.

Apparently, all those things are against jail regulations.

That wasn’t a smart idea; but he probably knows that now. Maybe this guy should try being stingy next time?!
