FAIRVIEW TOWNSHIP, PA – In Fairview Township, Pennsylvania guess who says they’ve got your back? The Ku Klux Klan.

Yep, those guys with the pointy hats and white sheets known for their hatred of minorities.

The Klan has formed a neighborhood watch of their own after a few break-ins in the neighborhood; and they passed out flyers that read “you know you can sleep tonight knowing the Klan is awake!”

Really? Who is comforted by that?!

“I would think that in this year, 2014 that we would be a little past this kind of movement and wouldn’t be worried about people’s color and stuff like that, and we’d move beyond this,” one neighbor said.

A Klan member released a statement saying, “It’s just like any neighborhood watch program. It’s not targeting any specific ethnicity. We would report anything we see to law enforcement.”

Lt. Jason Loper with the Fairview Township Police said, “We have a freedom of speech issue. The only violation we may have is littering, but really this is not much different than what other churches and business will do.”

We should always watch out for our neighbors.

In this case, maybe the neighbors should start a separate watch group to keep an eye on those who are watching in the hood.
