TOKYO, JAPAN – President Obama is in Japan as part of his Far East tour.

When he’s not gripping and grinning with Japanese leaders, he’s kickin’ it with his new little friend, Honda’s humanoid robot ASIMO. That’s an acronym for Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility.

The kid-sized robot can even hop around, looking just like a little kid who really, really has to go to the bathroom.

But it wasn’t all “Domo arigoto, Mr. Roboto” for Mr. Obama.

He went from hi-tech to low-tech with a samurai archery demonstration, which gave him another opportunity to practice bowing to people holding weapons.
