First responders, they’re hero’s, they’re brave and they’re great cooks too?? Yep!! Just take a look here at the 7th Annual Texas Association of First Responders Wild Game cook-off.

Law enforcement units are taking the day off and grillin’ up some of the Bayou’s best, all in the name of charity.

“First to show…. Last to go”, that’s the motto among first responders. Andrew Collier, brother of Sean Collier, the M.I.T. police officer murdered by the Boston Bombers, knows that all too well. He’s pushing for congress to pass a bill to honor first responders with a holiday.

Here’s hoping that bill becomes a law. Maybe even throw in a mandatory BBQ brisket amendment!!
