VATICAN CITY – Pope Francis tweeted out to his nearly four-million followers that “Inequality is the root of social evil.”

So what does the holiest man alive mean by this?

At first glance you may believe the message retweeted more than 10,000 times was speaking to marriage equality. Others think Pope Francis is honing in on an issue of economic inequality, a cause he’s spoken about passionately for the past 13 months.
