HOUSTON, TX – One criminal is taking the meaning of “you haul” literally.

Surveillance video of a U-Haul store on Old Katy road near Gessner in West Houston shows a man breaking into the store to grab cash and keys.

The Houston Police Department thinks this may be the same guy who has broken into at least ten U-Haul stores in the city using the same method, hitting up the stores after hours, disguised by driving a U-Haul truck.

The burglar may think he’s doing the store a favor, he returns a stolen U-Haul vehicle, only to steal another and return it at his new burglary location.

Talk about a courtesy crime. Someone needs to haul this guy off to jail.
