manzielHOUSTON, TX – Hey Houston. No pressure, but hope Clowney brings it on the field. Cause Johnny Cleveland brings it to the bank.

The Dog Pound should change their color from brown to green from all the cash following last week’s draft of Johnny Manziel. After draft pick #22 the team sold upwards of 2,300 season tickets and counting. Now Johnny Football’s jersey’s the top-selling rookie jersey so far. Draft weekend alone, Manziel sold more jerseys than RG III, Andrew Luck and Tim Tebow combined. We even caught LeBron sporting one and he hasn’t cared about Cleveland since 2010.

Manziel mania reverberated in College Station, Texas A&M Regent Jim Schwertner proposes changing the name of Kyle Field to Kyle Field: The House that Johnny Built. Absurd!

Johnny’s homeboy “Uncle Nathan” already applied to trademark the phrase “the house that Johnny built.” And of course any change in the name is up to the students and alumni.

We just hope the Browns don’t ruin the kid. After all Cleveland is the place quarterbacks go to die.
