HOUSTON, TX – Who’s ready to play “the fastest finger?”

The defender: the “quick kid from Brazil,”16-years-old Marcel Fernandes. His speedy hands recently won the Guinness Book of World Record title for fastest text on a mobile device.

The challengers: Paul and Tim – two guy ready to take out the “fast fingered fiend” as they accept our “texting challenge.” The game is simple, beat the champ: type this 25-word sentence into you mobile device in under 18.19 seconds.

“The razor-toothed piranhas of the genera Serrasalmus and Pygocentrus are the most ferocious freshwater fish in the world. In reality they seldom attack a human.”

And time!

Maybe Marcel’s speedy touch was thanks to the really smart phone he used, with the Flesky keyboard application installed. Flesky boasts themselves as the fastest texting application world. Guess they’re right, but Marcel’s fingers did most of the work.
