SYRACUSE, UT – Teenagers can be very ambitious with lots of drive and determination.

But one 14-year-old’s drive landed him in cuffs after leading police on a reckless high-speed chase in Syracuse, Utah nearly running into kids playing in a park!

The teen decided to take his grandpa’s car on a joy ride. When grandpa reported his car stolen, cops spotted the grandson nearly 30 miles from his Salt Lake City area home.

The teen’s joy ride turned fast and furious when cops tried to pull him over.

The chase was on! It ended when an off-duty cop used his dodge pick-up truck to ram into the car head on!

Thankfully, no one was hurt. As for the teen, it’s time for this guy to take a back seat in a cop car. Bet that ride won’t be so joyful.
