ireHARRISON, NY – Six people were hurt after a 70-year-old crashed into a Mobil gas station in Harrison, NY.

“He collided with another vehicle that was at the gas pump gassing up he also struck the gas pump which caused it to topple onto a car on the opposite side,” says Kieran O’leary with the Westchester County Police.

Cell phone video captures the chaotic seconds after the crash, as workers shut down pumps.

Traffic was stopped temporarily while emergency crews focused on keeping flames from spreading to other cars.

As for what exactly happened with the driver who sparked the emergency?

“He was in a diabetic emergency at the time that it occurred so what he’s telling us now is he has no recollection of what occurred.”

A ghastly occurrence, nonetheless.
