FRIENDSWOOD, TX – This one’s for you, Dallas, so you can learn to appreciate the good things happening around Houston.

Friendswood and League City are the only two towns in Texas that made the list of the twenty best small cities to live in the US of A. Boom!

“It’s always great to have that kind of recognition,” said Nick Haby, Planning Manager of Friendswood. “I think it speaks well of the residents who live here and the leadership that we have in the City Council.”

The consumer website Nerdwallet.com ranked Friendswood number 2 and League City 19th in a list of more than 900 cities with populations from 25,000 to 100,000.

Affordability, economic growth and income equality were some of the factors taken into consideration for the list.  So, bravo for these two towns.  We’re proud of you.  More proof that size doesn’t matter: sometimes good things come in small packages.
