HOUSTON, TX – Each year, the summer brings warmer weather and some not-so-welcome guests — snakes! Houstonia writer Cathy Matusow begrudgingly grew up in home with three brothers where the slithering reptiles were as common as sweat in the summertime. In this video, she reflects on her youth surrounded by snakes and how it changed the way she sees the world today.
