PHOENIX, AZ – Heaven knows what would make someone kill — like in Phoenix, where two priests were attacked Wednesday night.

Police say 28-year-old Fr. Kenneth Walker is dead and 56-year-old Fr. Joseph Terra is in critical condition after the shooting at a Catholic church, the Mother of Mercy Mission.

Cops say it appears to have been a burglary.

The details are still fuzzy but apparently one of the priests managed to call 911 after being shot. Not long after, police found an SUV that was stolen from church property. No one was inside though.

There are no suspects so far.
