KATY, TX – As many as 150 people showed up at a Katy area home for a religious gathering when their world came crashing down around them, literally.

The roof of the second floor garage apartment near Park Mill and Park Rush collapsed. Those who could get out of the debris flooded the street looking for help. Emergency responders took at least 36-people to the hospital with minor injuries. One person suffered a serious head wound. A total of three people were critically injured.

Eventually, responders were able to get everyone out from under the collapse. A day when a religious celebration ends up needing divine intervention.
