WASHINGTON, DC – The Supreme Court says “No” to Aereo — an internet company that streams live television.

The company sells you access to the live stream for a fee, then you can watch your favorite shows on your Apple TV or mobile device.

Sounds cool enough; but the big wigs in TV-land weren’t having it.

A lawsuit was filed back in 2012 arguing Aereo was selling TV signals illegally.

Fast forward to now; the high court ruled that Aereo violates the U.S. Copyright Act.

No doubt broadcasters are doin’ a victory dance about this.
