HOUSTON, TX – Two youths amazingly are alive after learning this lesson the hard way.

Drawing unwanted attention from the cops can make someone already look guilty. That seems to be the case in two juvenile males driving a stolen car on I-10 near Highway 6.

Did they really think the cops wouldn’t notice them just because their lights were off?!

That’s when they zipped by a Harris County Precinct 5 patrol car and the chase was on. The runaway driver attempted to turn northbound onto Highway 6. That’s when it all came crashing down — literally!

The driver of the stolen car hit the curb sending the car 12 feet into the air, slamming into the concrete wall under the bridge.

The Houston Fire Department had to pry the two youngsters out of the vehicle. They are both hospitalized in serious condition.

In the stolen car cops found a gun and a wallet; which also appeared to be stolen because the ID and credit cards didn’t match any of their names or faces.
