NEW ORLEANS, LA – From the birthplace of jazz, it was all blues today as New Orleans police try to piece together why someone opened fire in the heart of the French Quarter, on famed Bourbon Street.

When the shooter was done, nine people had been wounded, including one critically.

The rampage took place in front of two of the city`s most famous tourist locations – Pat O`Brien`s bar and jazz venue Preservation Hall. As usual, Bourbon Street was packed with tourists when the shooting went down.

It’s unclear what led to the attack or who the suspect is, but one thing is certain, the Big Easy is, today, very uneasy.
