ARLINGTON, Texas–Imagine seeing a plane coming at you from the side of the road!

The pilot of a single-engine cessna was *trying*to make an emergency landing in Arlington, reportedly because he lost oil pressure.

Instead, he slid all the way to the ramp between I-20 and Highway 287.

The plane was there on the ramp right in the middle of rush hour, backing up traffic for several hours.

Only one person was hurt. The plane hit one vehicle. Then another vehicle hit the plane!

How do you explain that to your insurance company?

News media need education, that is not a Cessna. It is a Piper Pawnee PA-25, commonly used as a crop duster.
