Colorado teen shoots, kills bear intruder

BAILEY, CO – One teenager from Bailey, Colorado had a beary scary experience.

15-year-old Rose Hill heard sounds coming from the family garage. When she went to investigate the noise, what she discovered was much bigger than she expected.

No, it wasn’t a thief; it was a big black bear!

Rose had only a few split seconds to make a decision.

So she shot at it.

Not once — but six times!

Needless to say, the bear fell over the side of the mountain and died.

Guess her quick thinking and competitive shooting skills paid off in more ways than one.

She got a whole new nickname.

Folks in Bailey are calling her “Grizzly” Rose

Bears: you’ve been warned.
