Washington state starts its legal weed sales

SEATTLE, WA – Our country is going to pot!

It’s official, New York is the latest state to allow medical marijuana; so that makes 23 states along with the District of Columbia.

And if we’re talking about recreational weed, legal sales are smoking in Washington state.

Washington is the second state behind Colorado where you can buy a ticket to ride the reefer.

First thing’s first; you have to be 21 and no guns are allowed.

You can buy up to an ounce of marijuana at a time, but you can’t handle or sample any of it before buying it and you can’t even open your package until you leave the store.

Oh, and expect to pay cash; we’re talking $20 to $25 a gram and up to $700 for an ounce.

Pick out what you want, pay for it and leave with your package — no peeking!
